A manic two-week session at Rainbow Lake, France, saw Tony Kenrick from St Helens notch up an 86-fish haul including an incredible three seventies topped by this 78lb mirror (bottom inset). The 49-year-old manager, who caught a 76lb common (main), a 74lb mirror (top inset), five sixties, 13 fifties and 23 forties, used Monster Crab boilies from Alphabaits. He fished to a snaggy island at 100 yards range where he introduced freebies on a regular basis, presenting his hookbaits blow-back style on rigs incorporating size 4 Nailer hooks.

Tony Kenrick from St Helens, Merseyside, enjoyed a productive two week session on Rainbow Lake, France, which saw him bank 22 carp including four fifties, a 72.5lb mirror and this 82.25lb common (left).
The 49 year old transport team manager used
Alphabaits Fishmeal/Monster Crab Boilies to tempt the largest Rainbow common reported to Carp Talk.
He presented hookbaits on size 4 Nailer hooks, 30lb braided hooklinks and 10oz leads on Solar Lead Clips and fished to sunken trees at 150 yards range.
Tony's successful outfit also included Daiwa infinity X rods, infinity reels and 50lb Fireline.
